1. Reference
  2. ava CLI reference

Run the CLI through the project environment:

uv run ava COMMAND

init

ava init [--editable-deps]

Creates a verified starter workspace in the current empty directory. --editable-deps clones Avalanche and PredictRLM into .trampoline-ai/ and configures them as editable dependencies.

operator

ava operator [--flows PATH ...] [--port PORT] [--host HOST]
             [--webhook-port PORT] [--log-level LEVEL] [--ray]
             [--discovery-timeout SECONDS]

Starts the local flow operator. --flows accepts one or more flow files or directories and defaults to the current directory. The defaults are gRPC port 7433, loopback host 127.0.0.1, webhook port 7434, and WARNING log level.

dev

ava dev [--flows PATH ...] [--port PORT] [--web-port PORT]
        [--ray] [--discovery-timeout SECONDS]

Starts an operator subprocess and connected browser UI. Defaults: operator port 7433, browser UI port 7435.

web

ava web [--connect HOST:PORT] [--host HOST] [--port PORT] [--trusted-proxy]

Starts the local browser UI and gRPC-Web proxy. --connect defaults to localhost:7433; the listener defaults to 127.0.0.1:7435.

run

ava run FLOW [--connect HOST:PORT] [--input JSON] [--context JSON]
             [--file FIELD=PATH] [--workspace FIELD=DIR]

Starts a flow on a running local operator and prints its run ID. JSON input and context must be objects. Each top-level input field may be supplied once across --input, --file, and --workspace.

result

ava result RUN_ID --output-dir PATH [--connect HOST:PORT] [--wait]
                  [--timeout SECONDS]

Downloads a successful operator result into a new destination directory. --wait waits for a nonterminal run; --timeout defaults to 300 seconds.

tui

ava tui [FLOW[/NODE]] [--connect HOST:PORT] [--token TOKEN]
        [--tls | --insecure] [--tls-ca-cert PATH]

Launches the terminal UI in mock mode without --connect, or against a real operator with it.

webhooks

ava webhooks list [--connect HOST:PORT]
ava webhooks get SELECTOR [--connect HOST:PORT]

Lists local webhook routes or retrieves one canonical workflow selector.

Use ava COMMAND --help for the parser’s generated help in the installed version.
